NANO the most heard word from last one month. Did you getting it? NANO the most awaited small car from TATA Motors is going to launch in Mumbai, India on March 23, 2009. Means 4 days to go on. But what is the speciality of NANO? the most attractive feature is its cost, which is almost half of presently available cheapest car (form Maruti) in India. NANO also has some more specification look below figure why NANO is being cheap and what else NANO has.

Initially, Tata Motors will not add any new dealers to its existing dealership network, but it may do so after a few months. The booking amount for the Tata Nano will be announced on the date of the launch. Unconfirmed reports say that the booking amount is likely to be 70-80% of its base price. The Tata Nano will be priced between Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 1.34 lakh.

It will be available in following 3 variants:

* Base
* CX
* LX





The Base model will feature Seat Belts, Engine opening through rear bumper, Speedometer, Odometer, High mounted Rear Stop lamp, Centrally placed exhaust, Only Driver seat adjust-sliding and reclining, Fixed front passenger seat, Folding Rear Seats, 2-Spoke Steering wheel, Grey bumpers and interiors, Driver side Outside rear view mirror.

The CX will feature AC, Tinted glasses, Metallic paint along with the features of Base Nano. The top end LX model will come with following features in addition to the features in CX:


* Tripmeter
* Front Power windows
* Central Locking
* Front and Rear fog lamps
* 3-Spoke Steering wheel
* Moulded door trim with fabric inserts
* Floor console with glass holder
* Anti-Glare inside rear view mirror
* Sunvisors on both sides

All the models will come with 18 Months or 24,000 kms whichever is earlier. It will be available in 6 colors - Bright Red, Ivory White, Summer Blue, Champagne Gold, Lunar Silver and Sunshine Silver
