On 27th of January 2009, Google announced its new feature in googlemail/gmail. That is Offline gmail. By use of this feature you can access your gmail account through http://gmail.com on your browser in absense of interenet connectivity. Means you can check your mails or prepare a mail for send even if have not internet connection or slow connection or untrusted network. This feature of google is very useful. I posted before some time about how to download all mails of your gmail account , now gmail provide us that feature without any external software. You can create and delete your mail also from offline gmail feature, and when you login on your account, your sent mail that you written and stored in gmail's outbox will send immediately by gmail.

how you can use offline gmail?

Steps for use gmail offline feature

Step 1:- After login your gmail account click on setting tab link as on your home page

Step 2:- Go to labs tab after you reach setting page

Step 3:- In Labs tab enable the feature offline

Step 4:- Click on save changes after enable offline

Step 5 :- After save changes, you'll see a new "Offline^0.1" link in the upper right hand corner of your account, next to your username.





Step 6 :- When you click on this link a popup window will open ask you about Install offline access for Gmail.






Step 7 :- You got Install Gears popup when you click on next.

Step 8:- You have to Agree and download for Gear, it is necessary for Gmail offline.

Step 9:- Gmail now ask you for restart your browser.

Step 10 :- After you click next gmail will install its offline feature. Here you see that red link became green.





Step 11:- Now your gmail is ready for synchronized with offline mode. Click on link and it will ask you to Install offline acess for Gmail





Step 12 :- After you click on next ears will ask you for Allow offline synchronization with Gmail.Click on Allow.




Stage 13 :- After you allow Gear will ask you do you wants add short cut of Gmail. Depends on you what you wants.

Stage 14:- Now it will start offline installation.

Stage 15 :- After it installed. synchronization is started.

When synchronization is finished, you may access offline gmail of your account.
