What is my PNR status | Check PNR status| check PNR Number status| check PNR No status| i-ticket| e-ticket

Every time when you have vacation you also have a plan. Some people (like me) are so lazy they can't leave their bed on vacation. But some peoples not only plan but change it on a trip.

In India mostly people prefer Railway for a long journey. It is comfortable and economic too.

But when we talking about Railway reservation The first thing that comes in mind is availability. IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) have not convenient facility for check online availability of seats. There are a train calender that i visit recently , that shows availability of seats for next three months. It is not a government authorized website but i think it is a good web site for check online availability of seats.

The next thing that may click on your mind is how you can book your ticket. There are many websites that offers railway ticket booking online. But You should prefer Official IRCTC website for book your ticket. It just need a one form registration first time and after that you can login with username and password on IRCTC website. and can book tickets

You should aware about few things that there are only few credit/debit cards that are supported by IRCTC payment gateway. Also hidden charges taken by Your card issuer and IRCTC. IRCTC charges 10rs for each transaction as i know.

There are two types of tickets you can book from IRCTC that are e-ticket and i-ticket. After book ticket you will got a unique PNR number also known as PNR No. From this PNR No you will got status of your booked sit.

i-ticket will deliver at your prefered address with in 2-3 working days of booking date. It take postal charges extra by IRCTC for i-ticket. And thats why you have to book your i-ticket before 3-5 days of your journey so it will arrive to you on time.

The second way you can book ticket is e-ticket. You can book ticket and carry a printout of ticket witin your journey. You will carry this printout along with the one of the five photo identity cards (Voter identity card / Passport / Pan card / Driving license / Photo I/d card of Central / State Government issued to their employees) during train journey in original.

After you get ticket then final question before journey(If your booked tickent in waiting list) is What is my PNR Number status? or What is my PNR No status? or What is my PNR status.
